Are these really made at home?
Yes — Mello is a Georgia cottage food bakery, and Cheryl's food handler certification is complete. The official note, in full: MADE IN A COTTAGE FOOD OPERATION THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO STATE FOOD SAFETY INSPECTIONS.
Can you ship to me?
We offer local pickup and shipping anywhere in Georgia. Mello is a Georgia cottage food bakery, so in-state is our delivery map — and if you're passing through Georgia, pickup is the tastiest workaround.
How does ordering work?
Build your order in the Shop — singles, a Build Your Mello Box, or the seasonal box — then send it from your basket. Your order goes straight to Cheryl on WhatsApp, and she confirms your order, payment and pickup or delivery details with you there.
How far ahead should I order?
Everything is baked to order in small batches. For Saturday pickup, please order by Thursday — Cheryl confirms your exact pickup time after you order. Market days can sell out, so ordering ahead is the surest way to get your flavors.
How does pickup work?
Order by Thursday for Saturday pickup — Cheryl confirms your exact pickup time with you on WhatsApp.
How long do they stay fresh?
Best within 3 days. Keep them sealed at room temperature, and warm for 10 seconds before eating for maximum gooeyness. They freeze well — thaw at room temperature or warm gently.
What allergens should I know about?
Cookies contain or may contain wheat, milk, egg, tree nuts, and soy. Everything is made in a kitchen that handles tree nuts (pecans and almonds). If you have a serious allergy, please ask Cheryl before ordering.
Can I order a mix?
Yes — that's the Build Your Mello Box. Choose a box of 4 or 6 and tap any flavors to fill it, repeats allowed.
Is there anything in the cookies besides cookie ingredients?
Just cookies — no cannabis, CBD or THC, ever. The "lab" is Cheryl's kitchen and a whole lot of recipe testing.
What happens to my details when I order?
Your name, delivery address and note are saved in Cheryl's private order book on this website — only she can see it, when she signs in — and sent to her in the WhatsApp order message as well. Nothing is sold or shared; she uses it only to bake and deliver your order.
